Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape measure horizontal.
Wrap the measuring tape around the narrowest part of your waist, which usually just above your belly button. Keep the tape snug but not tight.
With your feet together, measure around the fullest part of your hips.
Oversized - An exaggerated fit with a boxy shape, think an elevated style that makes a statement. Size down for a more traditional fit, or size up for a bold silhouette. This is a genderless product; we recommend sizing down if you are female.
100% Merino Wool
All trims, labels and threads are either recycled or responsibly sourced.
Product packaging is part bio-based, acting to preserve both your new garment and environment. Once opened, please discard responsibly in a compost facility to allow full disappearance within 24 weeks.
We recommend washing infrequently and only when needed to maintain the soft luxurious feel of the garment. Avoid hanging your Merino Wool garments to dry after washing it will distort the fragile fibers and cause the garment to lose its shape. To reshape your Merino Wool, and lay flat to dry. Hanging on a line or clothes horse will distort its shape. Because Merino Wool is such a delicate natural fiber, it’s sometimes prone to bobbling or pilling after wear. Pilling will normally occur in areas exposed to friction, which causes the shorter Merino Wool fibers to lift out of the surface and create small balls. Pilling can easily be removed by running a pilling comb over the area and will lessen over time after a few hand washes.
MWool® is obtained from pre-consumer and post-consumer materials, which are carefully selected and tested, sorted per color and composition, and then turned back to fibers through a low-impact, mechanical recycling process.
Where possible, we use 100% recycled wool. This does not require virgin sheep hair and therefore reduces some of the environmental and ethical impacts associated with virgin wool production—including deforestation and animal welfare concerns
Since pre and post-consumer garments were already dyed during their former life, our recycled wool jersey items have no additional dyes and chemicals. The new colors we create are made through the Recype® process, which devises new wool colors just by mixing different fibers.
When compared to generic virgin wool fibers, MWool® impacts 99.2% less on climate change, 99.9% less on water use and 93.3% less on total energy consumption (according to Manteco’s Life Cycle Assessment). Plus, during production, we recover offcuts from the garment manufacturers and regenerate them into ‘new’ fabrics to use for the next year.
We are currently exploring a range of materials to better protect your products and the planet—from the compostable TIPA® bags you know and love, to recycled plastic bags and reusable cotton garment bags.
We are always searching for the best packaging solutions, valuing progress over perfection. Our current experimentation is by no means perfect, but we look forward to sharing exciting updates in the near future.
