MIRUM®

MIRUM® is a 100% bio-based, high-performance material derived from natural inputs including clays and responsibly-sourced natural rubber.

  • Animal-friendly

    MIRUM® offers a cruelty-free alternative to the traditional leather industry that relies on animal hides, leading to the annual slaughter of over 1.4 billion cows, goats, and sheep.

  • Plastic-free

    MIRUM® is also plastic-free offering an alternative to fossil-fuel derived materials that destroy ecosystems and are harmful to wildlife.

  • Lower impact

    According to Natural Fiber Welding's lifecycle assessment, the cotton backing is the highest impact raw material in the creation of MIRUM. By transitioning to regenerative cotton, we collaborated on reducing this impact significantly.
